Playful Clementine has a lively personality and, from her perch in the PAWS’ Lobby Room, she surveys all shelter activity.
I titled this post, “An Exceptional Cat” because:
#1 Piper is very beautiful.
#2 Piper is very friendly and sweet.
#3 Piper is a tortie cat with none of the tortie attitude! She’s the happy exception to the tortie and calico cattitude rule.
Recently we won a generous selection of Valerian stuffed toys by entering a contest held by the charming and stunning kitty blogger, Cathy Keisha. They were made by the Bavarian Cat Toy company.
What’s in valerian, you might ask?
Wikipedia‘s answer: “Actinidine is a pyridine derivative found in the essential oil of valerian root and silver vine. Actinidine is a cat attractant, with effects like those of nepetalactone, the active compound found in catnip.”
Or, if you ask Miss Piggy at PAWS, it’s pure stinky bliss.
Did Clementine realize how startlingly beautiful she looked on the blanket?
She’s a one year old diva, spirited and friendly.
As you can see, BeeBee has gorgeous markings. You’ll have to visit her at PAWS to experience her sweet loving personality. Bonus! BeeBee has a sister who must be adopted with her.
Stunning four old Cookie supervised while I filled out the adoption papers for our new cat Rufus last week. Oh dear…Look at that face!
I’m sorry Cookie, I hope your turn will be coming soon.
As the wise man Sigmund Freud said, “Time spent with cats is never wasted”. Meet Cali, an energetic two year old Mom cat recently retired from the kitten producing business. She’s like a playful kitten herself!
You may have seen Merritt here in previous posts, but she has never looked so contented and pleased with her surroundings. Chewy.com generously donated two of these Catit Bench Scratchers to PAWS. I emailed them, sent pictures of our red themed room, and, within a few days they sent the scratchers.
