ePeanut3
Meet Peanut, a lovely eight year old calico. She hasn’t been at PAWS very long and is still getting used to shelter life.

It must be calico week; my friends at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life have featured pretty Patches. CLICK HERE to see her.

This is Happy on the left, and Grumpy on the right. Can you guess the names of the other five kittens in the litter?

And here’s June. May was already adopted, and I’m sure these beauties will be leaving the shelter soon.

eBottleBabies

These two motherless babies were at PAWS Sunday for a few hours.
Shelter Kittens are lovingly fostered in homes until they are older.

When they come back in a month or so, they’ll be well socialized and ready for adoption.

Have you held a kitten lately? A miniature miracle in your two hands, with a purr out of all proportion to its size.

Capable of revving up from sleep to extreme action in a second’s time.

Morgan and Emily are waiting at PAWS.
It’s the start of a long happy love affair for some fortunate family.

Adopted! Morgan and Emily have gone home.

Kramer was having a relaxing morning until the paparazzo started pointing her camera at him.

Here’s Kosmo enjoying a good cardboard box.

These two playful young tabby cats are devoted to each other. A potential adopter must take both of them. Maybe because there are two of them, and because they aren’t lapcats, they have been at PAWS since they were babies.

This photograph was on the blog last November.
I wish someone would give them a home. They’d have endless entertainment and a lot of affection once Kosmo and Kramer settled in.

Little Edith and her playmate, black and white Ross, are in separate cages in the kitten room.

When they’re let out to play, they love to climb to the top of the cage bank, up near the ceiling. Fortunately, Edith and Ross are pretty easy to lure back down…

They’re very busy little kittens. Ross has been adopted and will be going to his new home tomorrow. I hope Edith won’t have to wait much longer.

Elsewhere in the shelter, Boone was having an easy Sunday morning.

Some weeks when I get home from the shelter and look at my photographs,
I have a hard time deciding what to share on the blog.
Maybe a beautiful tabby kitten like little Vea?

Looking through the window at the cats in Room #4 who are waiting for a visit
(they’ve been redecorating).

You’ve seen Kosmo and Kramer before on the blog, but what a sweet pose!

For more kitten cuteness, visit my friends at Animal Shelter Volunteer life. They have some adorable action shots of Bobble, Vea’s gray brother.

Boone and Logan are almost identical tabby brothers. They’re equally fun loving, energetic, affectionate and charming.

I hope they’re adopted together. And I hope the bunny goes home with them!

Fendi, Vuitton, and Ferragamo are back at the shelter and available for adoption. They were fostered by PAWS volunteer Cheryl with their momcat Givenchy and two other kittens (Hermes and Dior have already been adopted).
They’ve been well loved and are very affectionate and playful. Cheryl had her hands full, but she did a great job socializing them.

This is Fendi, she and her brother Vuitton are polydactyl.

Heard in the Kitten Room:

“They untied my shoelaces again.”

“Ut oh, there are four kittens in this cage. Now I only see three. What’s that noise in the trash can?”

“Argh! He climbed up my leg!”

“Oh no. I just cleaned that cage. They dumped the litter box all over!”

“Look out! There’s one right behind you.”

PAWS has many beautiful kittens available for adoption.
