Here’s Brian and his brother Buster again – you met them a few weeks ago. Tabby Brian is cautious but curious. He checks to see if Buster likes you first… But Buster is so affectionate and outgoing; he seems to like everyone!
When I cleaned their cage, the disruption sent them up to their hammock. It’s harder to find homes for cats when there are two that can’t be parted. But the comfort they bring each other while they wait is very sweet to see.

There’s more than one cat named Patches at PAWS now, so this pretty girl has been designated “Patches II”. As you can see, she’s a dilute calico with beautiful markings. Only about two years old, she’s friendly and very active.
She must be placed with her brother Rusty, who is shy and wasn’t ready yet for a photo session. I’ll try to show you her handsome orange tiger companion next time… well, actually, I hope they won’t be at the shelter that long!

Kittens Fiver (black male) and Trudy (tortie female) are looking for a family to call their own too.

Meet Peanut, a lovely eight year old calico. She hasn’t been at PAWS very long and is still getting used to shelter life.
It must be calico week; my friends at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life have featured pretty Patches. CLICK HERE to see her.
Seven Kittens
This is Happy on the left, and Grumpy on the right. Can you guess the names of the other five kittens in the litter?

I sat on the floor in front of their open cage and made some cat-friendly chirping noises. Slowly gray Buster came out, inspected me, and climbed into my lap.
Buster rolled, stretched, purred, and made himself at home. When shy tabby Brian saw that it was safe, he came out and laid beside me for some petting too.
These one year old boys are just sweethearts – and they’re available for adoption at PAWS.

Minnie Mouse and Mouse Continued…
Sunday morning Minnie was hanging out in her hammock with her mouse.

This is pretty Minnie Mouse.
She’s a playful, happy young cat who has adjusted beautifully to her temporary home at PAWS. Minnie Mouse likes the other cats in her room, people, food, toys, and her sister Tinkerbell.
We hope her stay at the shelter will be short, but meanwhile, she’s a joy to be around!

Oliver: Able to leap up tall cat trees in a single bound.
He’s athletic, playful, and sweet.
Daisy: Loyal sidekick and playmate.
She’s a wonderful lapcat with a soft coat and friendly purr.
These two exceptional cats are available at PAWS.
In this room at PAWS, there is a large cage where many cats have found temporary shelter while waiting for their new forever homes.
All of the cats below are graduates within the last year.
Hippity and Hoppity recently moved in after Scoots and Louie went home. These two sweet and shy black and white cats have been in the shelter for two years now. I’m hoping the luck of this cage will continue, and they will be adopted soon.
This is 5 year old Hippity.
When I cleaned their cage Hoppity was feeling worried about the disruption and joined Hippity for comfort. They are very devoted to each other.
