Naps were only interrupted when the cats moved to a more comfortable spot.
Midnight claimed the wall cup. Goober, on the left, shared the shelf with her buddy, four year old orange Jetpack.
Unfortunately Lucy2 doesn’t care for feline companionship at all!
Because of limited space allocation at PAWS, she was staying, temporarily, in a cage with other cats in the room. But here’s the good news: Lucy2 was moved to a room of her very own and her true personality was revealed.
These shy boys are only about ten months old. They are a bonded pair and won’t be separated. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful set of youngsters, look no more!
One would think, we should have two beds on the wide sunny window sill for two cats, right?
In their inscrutable way, here are our Mickey Mouser and Rufus the Red contemplating the unpopular red plush bed.

When we brought Rufus home to keep Mickey Mouser company,
we had no idea that we had initiated a month long battle of wills.
That was in July 2015.
