Eleven week old kittens at the shelter- the black one is Jax.
The oranges are Marbles, Boggle, and Yahtzee. All of them are ready to play!

Gizmo is the orange cat in the background, Angel is a Maine Coon mix, and Roxy in the foreground is a gray tabby.
Even in sleep they find comfort in the touch of a friend.
See how Gizmo has his foot on Angel’s back?
And if you look at Roxy’s tummy you will see Angel’s paw hugging her.
Of course we want them to have homes. But meanwhile, shelter life is pretty sweet.

Today I met Calvin who gives kitty kisses with his very pink nose.
And there’s wonderful news this week about another orange tabby.
Nemo has finally been adopted!

Guess what day Thursday was brought into the Shelter?

Six year old Tee-ma has been at the Shelter since last December.
The adoption rate has been picking up lately- I hope she is next!
UPDATE: April 4th- Tee-ma has been adopted!!!

After breakfast the shelter cats went to their favorite spots for a nap.
Sorry I woke you up, Roxy!

I don’t usually clean the room where Potsie lives, (hey, PAWS volunteers, is this Potsie?) but now I know I shouldn’t leave the paper towels where he can reach them.
I love working and photographing at the shelter, but I’m not a writer. For stories about PAWS cats, you can visit this very cool blog!
