What an appropriate name for this cat. She’s got a sunny disposition and a glowing coat.
Sunny is under a year old with a kitten’s playful energy. She loves to be held and petted. I would be happy to visit her again next week, but I bet she’ll be adopted by then – off brightening someone’s life.

There’s a new cat living in the Meeting Room at PAWS.
I stopped brushing her so that I could take her picture. Obviously, she wanted me to continue.
Good News! Marigold has been adopted. I hope she’s getting all the love and brushing sessions that she deserves.

When Milo came to PAWS, he was unkempt, battle scarred and fierce. It was months before he realized that he’d hit the jackpot. First we had to continually remind him that humans could be trusted. It was a long process and emails went out among the staff and volunteers celebrating every mark of progress.
And boy, did he make progress! He became the calmest, sweetest lap cat who never willingly ended a brushing session. All the other cats in his room wanted to be near him.
And this week, two years later, it finally happened… the moment we’ve all dreamed of. Milo has left us for a real home of his own.

Tommie has a new favorite low calorie treat. It’s only one calorie per twenty licks. The difficult part is trying to count his lightning fast licks.
It’s available in lots of flavors and they even make it for dogs.
Andrey, CEO (Cat Entrusted Official), of the Cat Amazing company sent samples of their toy to the cats at PAWS.
It arrived at my house and our cat Gracie opened the very cute envelope. The toy is easy to assemble, no tools needed. You just drop treats (not included) into the holes and stand back! I used Greenies, which everyone loves. I gave Gracie a few treats to apologize for taking this fascinating toy off to the shelter.
Lenny and Tony had a great time hunting and fishing.
But Elmer was so fast and accurate, you would have thought he had opposable thumbs!

Don’t worry, the PAWS match makers (adoption counselors) will be as careful as ever to make sure the cats will go to good forever homes.
