This is pretty Minnie Mouse.
She’s a playful, happy young cat who has adjusted beautifully to her temporary home at PAWS. Minnie Mouse likes the other cats in her room, people, food, toys, and her sister Tinkerbell.
We hope her stay at the shelter will be short, but meanwhile, she’s a joy to be around!
Andrey, CEO (Cat Entrusted Official), of the Cat Amazing company sent samples of their toy to the cats at PAWS.
It arrived at my house and our cat Gracie opened the very cute envelope. The toy is easy to assemble, no tools needed. You just drop treats (not included) into the holes and stand back! I used Greenies, which everyone loves. I gave Gracie a few treats to apologize for taking this fascinating toy off to the shelter.

Lenny and Tony had a great time hunting and fishing.
But Elmer was so fast and accurate, you would have thought he had opposable thumbs!
Thank you, Cat Amazing, for brightening their day while they wait for new homes.

Kramer was having a relaxing morning until the paparazzo started pointing her camera at him.
Here’s Kosmo enjoying a good cardboard box.
These two playful young tabby cats are devoted to each other. A potential adopter must take both of them. Maybe because there are two of them, and because they aren’t lapcats, they have been at PAWS since they were babies.
This photograph was on the blog last November.
I wish someone would give them a home. They’d have endless entertainment and a lot of affection once Kosmo and Kramer settled in.

Around our house, this is the toy that Mickey Mouser finds irresistible.
Mickey and I were playing with it the other night while watching Jackson Galaxy work his magic on Animal Planet’s “My Cat from Hell”. Suddenly Jackson opened his guitar case and pulled out the identical toy!
I think the secret of its allure is a very flexible long wire and a cute little mouse made of bristles. We highly recommend the Cat Catcher.

Here’s Mickey checking out the ipad app, “Game for Cats“. It has three levels of play which include a mouse, a butterfly, and a dot of light similar to a laser toy.
Gracie was briefly amused, but when the mouse went off screen she tried to get under the ipad to see where it had gone. Cats are hunters and my cats weren’t interested for long- once they found out they weren’t going to actually catch anything.
Still, it’s a free app and if you have an ipad, Mickey and Gracie suggest you check it out. Tommie opted to take a nap.
