I took these pictures back in late May.
Mom Scarlet had given birth to three kittens at PAWS.
Now that I have your attention…
This is the adoption board at PAWS as of December 30. When they add a sheet to extend the list, you know it’s been a very good month.
Fortunately, it’s been a very good year for well over 700 cats and kittens!
Here are a few of the remarkable kittens who passed through the shelter this year:
Just over a month ago I met this kitten and her litter mates at their foster home.
Such big changes in a month!
Now they are at PAWS waiting for their new forever homes.
I’ve got stripes and I’ve got spots.
I’m very well groomed.
I’ve got a wild side.
And I’ve got a sweet side.
I just don’t have a home… Yet.
Come to PAWS and meet your new best friend!
Question: What’s wrong with this picture?
Answer: Kittens, like Oliver and Twist above, growing up in cages.
There are so many beautiful and talented, brave and loving kittens at PAWS. If you are in Connecticut, please come to PAWS and open your heart!
If you are far away, check with your local shelter. At this time of the year most animal rescue organizations are overflowing with homeless babies and adult cats.
