A few months ago I showed you the interior window Rick was installing to create another open cat space at PAWS. Well, here’s the finished room.
This is Pj. I really want to say that she is the cat’s pajamas, but that’s such a bad joke (sorry).
Pj is a very sweet one year old cat who came to PAWS with several other cats when their person was evicted from their home.
Next up: Lady Jane.
When you have a harmonious home, with two wonderful well adjusted cats like Mickey Mouser and Rufus the Red, why rock the boat?
I don’t know the answer to that question.
One Sunday morning, while doing my regular cleaning work at PAWS, I saw this eight month old polydactyl boy, and evidently lost my mind.
That afternoon, I suggested Rick take some measurements at the shelter for a catification project. And, by the way, want to see a cute cat?
Nellie is playful and very friendly to people. She’s an excellent model; look at her flirtatious poses!
Falling in love is an occupational hazard when you volunteer at an animal shelter.
Last week we were all smitten by gentle Timon.
He came into PAWS as a stray, and seemed relieved that he didn’t have to fend for himself anymore.
Well, wonderful news! He has left the shelter for his very own home.
Timon’s stay was brief, but he managed to leave big paw prints on our hearts.
Treasure is known for her shiny black coat and outgoing personality.
She seems relaxed here, but once the Red Dot makes an appearance, Treasure is an enthusiastic huntress!
Introducing beautiful young Tessa, of the amber eyes, gleaming black coat, and green highlights.
She’s very friendly and sweet; not to mention a helpful painting assistant.
Five year old Mason‘s family fell on hard times and couldn’t afford to care for him.
Fortunately, they brought him to PAWS where he’s getting lots of attention, and the best care possible while he waits for a new home.
