This is Vishnu. Not what you were expecting, right?
He came to PAWS with his three buddies when his person moved into assisted living. Vishnu is six years old and the most laid-back affectionate cat!
For a while in the Spring, the shelter almost emptied out!
But life goes on, and so does the production of kittens.
Uncle Cinnamon has a new bunch of youngsters to watch over.
The kittens come and go while he patiently waits for a home of his own.
Natasha was adopted from PAWS as a kitten four years ago.
Recently, she was returned because she was peeing outside of the litter box. She has gotten a clean bill of health from the shelter vet. Most likely, she was having territorial issues with stray cats around her previous home.
Gentle and shy, Natasha likes being brushed and enjoys a little nip in moderation.
A pet is a member of the family and when things go wrong, a pet parent has to do some research (starting with a visit to the vet), problem solving, and detective work to find a solution. There is a wealth of information on the web.
Imagine if bed wetting children were dropped off at an orphanage…
OK, I will now step off my soapbox and show you some cute kittens.
Laid-back Misty is very patient with the youngsters in her room.
She keeps an eye on little Otto.
Loving Cinnamon has more of a paws-on approach.
Cookie and Noodles came to PAWS together. The girls are nine year old sisters.
Noodles is wondering how they ended up at PAWS…
These sweethearts won’t be waiting at PAWS for long.
I could say something about their beauty, the joy and laughter they bring.
But, I think I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
It’s hard to imagine that this four month old charmer will be at PAWS for very long.
I’ll bet he’s already spoken for, but I had to share him anyway.
So funny and cute!
Polar is giving you “the look”.
Is it working?
