Things I know about Q: He’s a one year old cat and full of energy. He was “owner released” and also declawed by them. Q has wonderful markings! But I have no idea why he was left behind, declawed, or named “Q”…
Jerome and Bunny love the cool new trees in their room.
I used to watch a TV show on the Animal Planet network called, “HouseCat HouseCall“. A vet visited homes and advised families on resolving behavioral issues. Dr. Katrina almost always suggested the purchase of cat trees. It works for Santana! She’s is now out of her cage and free to enjoy her roommates. Or climb the cat tree and get away from it all.
Notice the paws of the kittens in the cage on the right. They are “Hemingway kittens” and come with extra bonus toes.
Having lived with a polydactyl tabby cat for 13 years, I maintain that they are the sweetest tempered and most easy going cats (except when they want their breakfast)! Anybody want to comment?
Mindy is one of the cats who needed a lot of socialization. Now she’s a cat in search of a lap to call her own.
Meanwhile in the kitten room… Louisiana’s siblings have all been adopted. I hope it’s his turn soon. UPDATE: Yes! He’s been adopted. And there are still MORE kittens at the shelter!
This is two year old Leo, a very friendly and gorgeous boy. Unfortunately he needed a hair cut to get rid of his matted coat. Now Leo has a tail like a lion!
