Three month old Calvin and his sister Cleo were brought into the shelter together. She was adopted yesterday, so he’s a lonely puppy. He’s a very sweet tempered guy and won’t be an orphan much longer.
It’s raining cats and dogs today in Connecticut. I’m thankful that this kitten and his friends and relations are safe, well fed, and dry at the shelter. I have surpassed my fund raising goal (I underestimated the big hearts out there!) but there’s still time to help. Please click HERE !
This Sunday the PAWS shelter in Norwalk CT will be holding a fundraising event called “Bark in the Park”. Personally I think it should be called “Meow in the Meadow”, but they didn’t ask me. Anyway the money raised will support the shelter’s dogs AND cats. Please click on this link and give whatever help you can. Thank you!
Some of the cats are very relaxed, like this one on the chair. And then there are more watchful timid cats like these under the table. Volunteers spend a lot of time crawling around on the floor!
