The kitten population is so mesmerizing that I have been been neglecting the adult cats. This is Gerdy, a one year old torti waiting for a home at PAWS.

Our polydactyl cat Tommie will shake paws if he is in the mood. It’s obvious from his reluctance that I forgot to say “Please”.

After we finish our chores at the shelter, many of the Sunday morning volunteers end up spending time in the same room. There are probably a dozen of the sweetest tempered affectionate kittens to cuddle.
